Boron Nitride Paste
Slice Engineering Boron Nitride Paste is a high-performance thermal compound designed to enhance heat conduction between your heater cartridge, thermistor, and heater block. This aqueous suspension fills microscopic air gaps with a highly conductive crystalline microstructure, ensuring even heat distribution and improved component longevity.
Key Features
- Enhanced Thermal Conductivity: Significantly improves heat transfer from the cartridge to the block for faster heat-up times and stable temperatures.
- Non-Conductive Safety: Unlike metallic anti-seize compounds, Boron Nitride is not electrically conductive, eliminating the risk of shorting out sensitive electronics.
- Release Agent Properties: Prevents heater cartridges and thermistors from becoming permanently seized in the heater block after long-term high-temperature use.
- High Temperature Stability: Engineered to withstand extreme environments, remaining stable in temperatures far exceeding consumer 3D printing requirements.
- Easy Application: Supplied in a 5cc syringe with luer lock fittings and an applicator for precise placement inside heater block bores.
